Pano-monium Volume I

Right before we began our trip, I downloaded the Photosynth app on my phone, which enables you to take 360° panoramas. Though it comes with its quirks and doesn't always deliver perfect pictures (you'll notice a few of them have body parts or pieces of landscape missing/discolored), I've been using it continuously over the last year and thought it'd be cool to share them with you. I've included all the ones that came out somewhat decently from Peru all the way to Australia.

Hopping & Snorkeling: Blazing Through Queensland, Australia

Our main reason for visiting Australia was to see The Great Barrier Reef. Many people have asked us why we even went to Australia for just 2 weeks. But for us, it made sense. We both wanted to see the reef before it got destroyed entirely and because we were traveling in that direction anyway (from South America to Southeast Asia), we figured why not make the stop?

Soothing Sydney

We usually devote a Top 5 post to the capital/largest city we visit in a country, but we're skipping that for Australia. After New Zealand, we were tired and we didn't explore as much as we usually do. Instead, we spent a lot of time with friends and family and enjoyed a short, slow-paced sojourn in the land west of New Zealand ;-).
